He Hath Said

He Hath Said

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

Most of us have heard the adage, God said it, and I believe it! However, one of my dear sisters, made a slight change that makes all the difference in the world…she said it like this, “God said it, and that settles it!” In other words, it does not matter whether you  choose to believe it or not, if God said it, it stands true forever!

He hath said should be our daily resort. The Word of God teaches us “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:1.

Unlike humans, God is trustworthy and faithful. He will do what He says “Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” Hebrews 6:17-18.

His faithfulness will keep, protect, and succour us forever; everything moves by His power, and I do not know about you my friends, but I will praise Him as long as he spares life; I will place all my hope in His unchanging and immutable existence.

Therefore, If God says it, that settles it. We can come boldly before His throne assured that He hears and always answers the cries of His children; He is faithful that promised…remember that the value of a promise is as good as the promiser. There is no other like God…He is the great I AM, the same yesterday, today and forevermore!

Let us hold to God’s unchanging hands in all things; assured in the peace of knowing that every word, every thought of God is faithful and true. We can depend on His faithfulness from now throughout eternity. So, may our prayer contiuously be:

Dear Lord,      Please accept my praise and worship unto you… mold me and give me a clean heart to love you and my fellowman: You are the divine orchestrator of all things…and my life is held within your all powerful hands. Help me to put my total trust in you now and forever! Amen.

May the unconditional love of God keep and sustain us forever.
