Lord, Do it For Me!

Lord, Do it For Me!

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1.

In the secret place of your heart, a single tear rolls down the side of your cheek as you whisper, “Lord, do it,” and the Spirit softly whispers back. . . “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”1 John 5:14-15.

Trials, tribulations, innumerable circumstances can place us there at any given moment, but we have the sweet peace in knowing that when we fall before the mercy seat of God…He will come to our aid and wipe away every single tear, ushering in sweet peace. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28.

A little talk with Jesus always makes it right. Even when the storms of life are raging, and the billows roll, I am glad He will hide me safely in His arms. The Great Shepherd of the sheep—the One who comforts, provides, protects, heals, guides, and succors all His beloved children—will faithfully do it! “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1.

Is a storm looming overhead in your life today? Do you need something from the Lord? Then, run to the foot of the cross, my friend; Jesus has all that you need. There is no safer place than in the arms of our Almighty God. Rest, knowing that it is already done. “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37.

You only need to fall on your knees and just ask the Lord to do it—He’s a way maker and a doctor when your heart is heavy. He hears the cries of His children! I am a living witness: He can do it, my friends. If He can go to the graveyard and tell a dead man to get up, take two fish and five loaves of bread to feed over five thousand, and—best of all—one Friday evening at the ninth hour, hang on Calvary’s cross and die for my sins and yours, then get up early the third day morning with all power in His hands, then yes, in the darkest of hours, that is when God steps in and does it!

May God’s amazing grace, peace, and safety keep us all.
