Stay in Prayer

Stay in Prayer

“I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalms 34:4

Prayer is our intimate communication with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When we come alone on our knees; humble, submissive, and open towards God; it is then that we can truly listen and talk to Him about His will and our cares and concerns, He will strengthen for the journey and all of life’s circumstances.

There are numerous verses in the bible that admonish us to pray and that reminds us that God hears and answers the prayers of His beloved children. Jeremiah 33:3 state “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”  We are blessed by the amazing grace of God to come boldly before the throne of God.

Nothing and no one can provide the peace and joy that we are able to receive when we enter prayer with our Heavenly Father; the more that we are alone with Him, the more assurance that we have in His power to provide and keep us in His loving care. “Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry. Everything to God in prayer!” – Joseph Scriven

Praise be to God that in prayer we come closer to God and He eases our soul and makes everything all right, it increases our faith, which dominates the fear that is instilled in our hearts by the enemy; Psalms 34:4 reminds us “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalms 34:4

My friends, let us stay in prayer consistently, our lack of prayer produces a starving soul…but when we draw nearer and take everything to God in prayer, no truer or faithful friend will we find!

What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and griefs to bear

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer
