Our Divine Assurance

Our Divine Assurance

“I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.” Job 42:2

All things begin and end with God, He is the Alpha and Omega, Creator of all things. When we submit to His power and recognize that we are His workmanship, we can walk this journey of life in His peace and security. There are three attributes of God that will lovingly cover all that we encounter . . . He is intentional:

  • He is omnipotent –God is almighty and has complete power. Nothing and no one can overcome the power of God, therefore we can rest in His divine protection and provision forever. “Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11.
  • He is omniscient – God is all wise and all seeing, He has complete knowledge of all things; He leads and guides us in the paths that we should go. He knows our past, present, and future. He orchestrates all things according to the divine counsel of His will. We are all exactly where God wants us to be at this very moment; do we believe this? If so, then we can walk in faith knowing that we can safely follow wherever He leads. “Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.” John 16:30
  • He is omnipresent – God is all-present, infinite, and boundless. He is with us always. There is nowhere that we are that He is not… Psalm 139:8 state “If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.” We are safe in the divine presence of God every second of our lives; whether we are climbing on the top of Mount Everest or seeking a place to sleep under the nearest bridge, He is there, God is closer than the very air that we breathe!

God has it all in His hands my friends, no matter what challenges this life will present … we can affirm with the words of Job “I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.” Job 42:2.  We have the divine assurance that our Creator, Way-maker and Lover of our souls holds us safe in His everlasting arms now and into eternity!

God blessings and peace keep you always.
