All Hail King Jesus!

All Hail King Jesus!

“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.” Psalm 45:1

Praise, honor, exaltation…mere words cannot give the glory to our Almighty God and His amazing grace towards us all. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and He reigns eternal! Psalm forty-five is a song of praise, exalting the Messiah, King Jesus. It points to Him as a bridegroom espousing the Church to Himself, and He is presented as the King ruling it now and for forever. “My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”

The Psalmist with robust praise expresses how eager he is to write about the King. His heart is overflowing – inditing with positive thoughts; and his words are ready (quick, prompt, and skilled) as a poet. Everything that has breath should humbly be ready to speak of God’s goodness!

Our King of Kings is Father, Son and Holy Ghost; our Provider, Savior and Keeper now and forever; let us praise Him with all that is within us. The Apostle Peter filled with the Holy Ghost proclaimed in Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

We must testify that the reign of God is eternal and that He is omnipotent. He is our Eternal King and is worthy of praise, adoration, and devotion. There is no greater place to be then in the mental and spiritual peace of our Lord; He is Immanuel, God with us…may we proclaim today and always with the words of the songwriter, All Hail King Jesus!
