All is Well

All is Well

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28.

Have you ever felt your heart tugged from one side to the other: heavy on one side and still ever so thankful on the other? I meet with a group of faithful women in prayer once a week, we receive numerous request: and we encounter needs that appear to reach far beyond what our human minds can foresee in healing, restoration, or deliverance… and yes it tugs at the heart to consider, Lord why so much pain; but we come to the throne of grace with thanksgiving, hope, and peace, knowing that our sovereign and almighty God is in complete control…  and all is well!

The word of the Lord reminds us in times like these to “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. As we fall on our faces in prayer…our hearts become lifted with the hope and peace in knowing that God has the ultimate plan for every petition brought before His throne. He sees and knows…and I can’t begin to tell you of the numerous times we have and still even at this very moment praise God for His faithfulness to answer and deliver in situations that seem outright impossible! “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37.

My friend God is good to us all… keeping our focus on His goodness and mercy is when the Holy Spirit ushers in that sweet assurance to our souls that all is well… He will provide His protective covering of love, comfort, strength and peace to the hurting soul “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.

So, whether in prayer for others or even ourselves; let us remember, that regardless to how rough the road may be… we have a God who cares- and if His eye is on a tiny sparrow-then we know without any shadow of doubt that He watches over us. “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1.

Let us walk this journey of life by our faith in the promises of God…and let our response to His faithfulness be a life of total praise and thanksgiving; knowing that God’s divine providence settles it all and yes, all is well… Psalm 23:1 comforts our hearts with these words “The Lord is my shepherd, and I shall not want;the Great Shepherd of the sheep…has us safe in His everlasting arms! Praise be to God, all is well …all is well!

God blessings of love and mercy to all.
