Need Help?

“My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2.

Conflict is inevitable, we all experience adversity and unrest at various times; those of us who have been saved by the grace of Almighty God face even greater spiritual conflict. The enemy of our souls is constantly strategizing to gain power and control of our mind, body, and soul. Ephesians 6:12 state “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

There are things that come against us that shake our very core; but recognizing and acknowledging where all of our strength and help comes from is half the battle…“My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2.

King Asa of Judah in the book of second Chronicles found a very present help in the time of trouble when he cried unto the Lord. “And Asa cried unto the Lord his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in they name we go against this multitude. O LORD  thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee. So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.” 2 Chronicles 14:11-12.

Regardless to what occurs in this life; in times of trouble and unrest we can turn to the Lord; just as in the account of King Asa and the children of Israel, we can rest in the assurance that no matter how big or small the opposition, the divine power and presence of the Lord is with us forever. “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

My friends, whatever your need or conflict is, seek the Lord, run to the foot of the cross! God will answer and provide all the help that you need …there is absolutely nothing that Satan and his demonic forces can throw our way that can thwart the plans of God. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” Romans 8:35.

Let us stand strong in the Lord, we can weather the storms of this life with confidence in His love and power…we are safe in His everlasting arms. “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39.

We are never alone in the fight, all of our help comes from the Lord . . . “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10.

The battle has already been fought and the victory is won…have faith in God!

Blessings and peace to all … God’s got this too!
