Things Aren’t Always as They Appear!

Things Aren’t Always as They Appear!

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” Proverbs 3:5-6.

An illusionist is a magician that perform tricks that deceive the eye. Harry Houdini was the most famous magician in history, he performed such acts as being buried alive and escaping a Chinese Torture Cell; following in his footsteps and still a very close second, and the one who captured my sense of wonder as a child…David Copperfield, who performed such feats as escaping from Alcatraz, walking through the Great Wall of China and even making the Statue of Liberty disappear… but it is all just an illusion, things aren’t always as they appear!!

The arch enemy of our souls is the great deceiver, he utilizes a lie, an illusion, whatever it takes to distort the truth and to make us have feelings of insecurity, failure, unworthiness, and any other negative thought that leads to fretting, doubting and ultimately stealing the peace of God that every born-again believer possesses. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7.

So, when the enemy has you second guessing every thought and action from not only yourself, but others, seeing and imagining things that are not really grounded in truth; (and he will!) stay on guard and let your faith cling to what you know to be true- the word of God.

Proverbs 3:5-6. statesTrust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy pathsThe key is to trust the Lord with all your heart and not your own judgment… in all things let him lead you, and he will faithfully clear the road for you to follow every single time!

My friends…recognize the ploy of the enemy, resist his sly and cunning attacks and above all take it all to the Lord in prayer! Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7.

God blessings of peace to all!
