Love Beyond Measure

Love Beyond Measure

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9

God’s love is truly amazing; it is beyond human comprehension and outright immeasurable- it has the power to change hearts and mold any willing soul into His image…His precious jewel!…every born-again believer can attest to this magnificent love that we process in our hearts, it gives us the desire to love one another, comfort the broken hearted, lift the downtrodden soul, and run on to see what the end will be!

It is God’s amazing grace that keeps me on my knees, teaches me how to survive in this world that can many times be so dark and dismal; and it comforts me when I face challenges and circumstances that appear to totally devastate me; forever reminding me that there is nothing impossible with God! and above all we have His faithful promise to be with us always: Hebrews 13:5 states “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Lamentations 3:21-22 reminds us that His tender mercies are new every morning! “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.” He lovingly helps us to hold on when we may fear all hope is gone- He gets right up under the weight that bears us down so heavy…and lifts it off! And… one day there will be a new heaven and a new earth were sickness, pain and destruction has no part, but peace reigns eternal…

Revelation 21:1-4 states: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

You may be feeling a little despondent or simply unclear about your life’s direction at this moment, but know that our Almighty and Sovereign God reigns forever; He is omnipotent, and His peace and unconditional love is yours just for the asking “Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:2- 3.

Praise God, He is faithful and true; He will never fail to strengthen, keep and guide us along this Christian journey. My friends, may we all learn to take one day at a time…trusting in His power, resting in His unconditional love.
