He is Wonderful!
“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:12.
Pala is the Hebrew word that means wonderful… it indicates something that is uncommon or out of the ordinary-a phenomenon that surpasses all human explanation…. my friends, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY – He is WONDERFUL- and to Him all honour and glory is due. Isaiah 9:6 tells us of our Savior..”For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Regardless to race, or creed, the robust praise that comes from the lips of every true believer, celebrating and proclaiming the wonder of His love and goodness is the same- we must proclaim HALLELUJAH!
The word of God tells us to “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalm 150:6. There is no greater joy that can be expressed than to come into the secret place of the most High, way deep down in our souls, faithfully coming into His presence with thanksgiving, forgetting all else and worshiping Christ our only wise God and Savior. “Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.” Psalm 99:9.
Just flip your Bible over a few books and read Revelation 5:12 it opens with a scene in Heaven…the apostle John heard the voices of many angels giving praise, honour, and glory unto to God- why…because He is the precious Lamb of God and is worthy to be praised-He was slain for our iniquities and He claimed victory over the grave, rose on the third day morning-setting us poor captives to sin free and now He sits on the right hand of the Father- Hallelujah– He reigns eternal with all power and glory! “Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:12.
This day, this very moment…let us let go and just think on the splendour and majesty of our Almighty God…He is omnipotent and with Him there is absolutely nothing impossible …knowing this truth makes the heart of every born-again believer overflow with with the assurance of how GREAT God is “And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.” Revelation 15:3.
Rest in the assurance that we have lovingly been created by and for God -we are His workmanship; we must worship Him with a sincere heart, then and only then will we know and experience His unconditional love, peace, and amazing grace that gives us all that we need to face the circumstance of this life in victory; My friends…He is Wonderful-salvation, honour.and glory is due to the Lord our God- the King of kings! Hallelujah!
