Our Faithful Comforter

Our Faithful Comforter

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

In this life pain and heartache are inevitable . . .  but the Word of the Lord gives us hope, peace, and the assurance of God’s faithful deliverance now and forever.. Romans 8:28 shines a bright light of hope in the darkest of situations -it reminds us that with God everything is right on schedule . .  “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Someone once said…we can’t trace God’s hand, but we can certainly trace His heart! God loves us and regardless to the present circumstances that we may face and yes, there are somethings that can truly hurt and bring us to our knees; we can hold to God’s unchanging hands… He is faithful to His promises an in  full control! God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9.

Thank God for our inseparable comforter, the Holy Ghost who guides us through this journey called life; and every born-again believer can cling to the truth that God is omniscent, omnipresent, and omnipotent– He knows exactly what is occurring in our lives at this very moment, and He will calm our fears, drying away every single tear that falls from our eyes. “For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipeaway all tears from their eyes.”

He is the God of all comfort. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

So, in the times when the load bears down too heavy..reach back and pull out your “faith reports,” or simply recall times in the past when God has literally made a way out of no way or given you the comfort and peace that goes beyond what you could humanly  understand. . . ; He has faithfully promised to never put more on us than we can possibly bear. “A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.” Isaiah 42:3.

My friends…I stand as a witness; that God never fails! He makes those things that appear to be unbearable, bearable… and He is with us always .. matter of fact, He is that proverbial light at the end of the darkest tunnel- Jesus . . . our faithful comforter, our bright and morning star!

Are you there today… call on Jesus, He will comfort, strengthen and keep you… He will carry you all the way through! “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” Jeremiah 29:12.

God is faithful in all things, and He never fails!

God never fails, God never fails

He abides with me, He Gives me victory

For God never fails

Oh, just keep the faith and never cease to pray

Just walk upright, call Him noon, day, or night

He’ll be there, He’ll be there

There’s no need to worry for God never fails!

Blessings and peace to all; let us lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus!
