God is Preparing You for Something Greater!

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9.

Trials and tribulations are a part of this life-and when we are going through it is often too hard to see what’s next…but my friends, let me be a witness, that as children of God we walk by faith and not by sight, for in those darkest moments of life…God is preparing us for something greater! “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10.

Today over 100,000 people are on the national transplant waiting list in the United States, and more than 90,000 of them are waiting for a kidney: and every nine minutes another name is added. To those awaiting organ transplants this seems an impossibility- I am a living testimony that the word of the Lord is faithful and true. “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37.

This morning with a heart of thankfulness I humbly acknowledge that all that I am or will ever be is by the grace and mercy of Almighty God…today makes twenty-eight years ago that God so ordained to give me a much-needed kidney transplant – defying the odds of man and showing His power to give and sustain life according to His divine will- as of this very second, I am still living with that same transplanted kidney by His grace and mercy– and to that I give Him total praise! “Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.” Psalm 63:3-4.

The words of Psalm 24:1 reminds us that God is Sovereign and He does exactly what He wants to do: “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”  We must submit to His will- but know that this is a comfort, for we who are the sheep of His pasture can rest in the assurance that He is faithful to keep us and lovingly provide for all that we need… “Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want!” Psalm 23:1.

Yes, my friends, after receiving dialysis for one complete year, and being added to the transplant list for only two weeks… I am a living witness that with God nothing is impossible-so whatever seems impossible in your life-look up to the author and finisher of our faith… JESUS- every trial and tribulation has a divine purpose –and He will deliver! “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.

God is preparing you for something far greater than you can see – so trust where He leads, for His plans for all of His beloved children far exceeds anything than we can possibly imagine! “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9.

To God be all the praise, honor, and glory for His mercy endureth forever -thank you, Lord!
