If We Call, He Will Answer!

If We Call, He Will Answer!

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”  Jeremiah 33:3.

Have you ever been amazed by God’s answer to your prayers? God always answers the prayers of His beloved children when we go to Him in faith. Jeremiah 33:3 states “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

In the book of Acts chapter twelve, we find the account of the Apostle Peter being captured and placed into prison by Herod the King. He had already killed James to frustrate the Church and now he intended to kill Peter as well. “And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)” Acts 12:2-3.

The scripture wonderfully validates for us that God orchestrates all things according to His divine will, and lovingly hears the cries of His children; know this, if we call, He will answer! While Herod decided that he would kill Peter; the saints were praying non-stop for his deliverance. Acts 12: 5 state “Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.”

So, while they were fervently interceding for Peter…God was working behind the scenes! An angel appeared to Peter and guided him out of the prison that night; and when he came to the house where they were still gathered in prayer, he knocked on the door, when the young girl answered the door and announced to the others that it was Peter, they responded with disbelief, assuming it was literally impossible-and when they came to the door, my God, they were astonished to see Peter standing there! “But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.” Luke 12:16. Won’t He do it!

Is there anything too hard for God? Absolutely not! If we ask anything according to His will, we have the petitions that we ask of Him… God is outright amazing . . . He will answer even while we are yet praying! Hallelujah!

My friends, prayer and love are two of the most powerful weapons that we possess; asking God puts all things in perspective, it shows that we recognize that He is our sovereign Lord and the provider of all things. What are you in need of today? The bible tells us that we have not because we ask not “Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.” James 4:2.

God knows the sincerity of our hearts, and when we come before His throne of grace, willing to release every care and concern over to Him… He will answer in great and amazing ways- know that the promise  of God’s omnipotence found in Ephesians 3:20, brings hope for every tomorrow! “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20.

God blessings, remain steadfast in prayer and expect to be amazed!
