““For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11.  

There are many in this world who refuse to believe that God is real… but there are those of us who know without any shadow of a doubt that He is eternal, sovereign and has all power! Jesus spoke these words to the Apostle John in Revelation 1:8: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

My friends…I am a living witness that everything- time, space, man, whatever- bows to Almighty God! Those of us who have lived through some impossible occurrences in life- can’t help but testify that it was beyond anything that we can possibly explain…and I am here today, by the power of Almighty God to be a witness that the Lord my God is sovereign, and He can do what no other power can do!

I’ve said it and have written it more than I can count… that God protects us through dangers seen and unseen. On yesterday I became ill while driving my car on Interstate 75. I knew I was about to faint… I saw the sign for MLK Blvd just up ahead, but I knew I couldn’t make.  I was in the right-hand land to exit…but knowing the safest thing was to pull over to the side lane and stop the car…all the while telling my grands to call their dad and tell him I was sick. And that is when God took total control of the wheel. What I recall is hitting something, I faintly felt, maybe I heard it- but I was not coherent, next an elderly woman approximately my age was standing in my car door saying are you alright… I saw it all- you swerved to the right and then the car went across the lanes to the guardrail in the middle – but it didn’t stop there… it came back across both lanes to the right and went into the grassy ditch. My friends my SUV was sitting upright and none of us had a scratch…and if someone is reading this that doesn’t believe that God is real- let me wake you up– try fainting at the wheel on interstate 75 at 1:30pm in the daytime driving approximately 50 mph, the only hope you have is God- He is real! Psalm 91:11 states: “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

I am still amazed at the power of my Lord, and my Savior, He has His angels watching over me and mine- and let me clarify for all who read this… that He watches over all His beloved children, whatever you may be facing today that even seems daunting and outright impossible to man- or if the sudden unexpected happens, and we all know it may- like it did to me- remember that God is in control– nothing will happen to you outside of His sovereign will! You can trust in this promise of the Lord: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaish 41:10.

God so graciously spared our lives on yesterday…and I have a charge to keep and a God to glorify-telling and writing to the world that He can do what no other power can do- He is omnipotent- He is real! Trust and believe in God!
