Amazing Grace

“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:2.

God’s grace is the expression of His unconditional love for all men. John 3:16 state “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Sin separated us from God, but His grace provides access into His abiding love forever!

It is only the precious blood of Jesus that can wash away our sins and give us access into the fulness of God’s love. John Newton penned these words…ever so true: “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found Was blind, but now I see.”  The scripture confirms for us that it is all about Jesus…“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:2.

Jesus brings to us, in the gift of life in Him, the access to walk this journey of life in stability and steadfastness of heart. Life circumstances often bring pressures that seem almost impossible to bear…but God’s grace comes in and will give us the strength to stand against all assaults. The familiar hymn continues…Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; ‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home!

My friends it is the grace of God that keeps, sustains, and succors us through this life- T’was grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved. Grace provides riches untold… spiritual gifts of peace, comfort, love, joy, and the list is inexhaustible…sufficient for all that we need in this life and the life to come!

Blessings of peace and His amazing grace be with us all.
