Because He Lives!

Because He Lives!

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18.
God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!
All over the world the body of baptized believers continuously give praise and glory to God, all because  of His resurrection power-to God be the Glory that He Lives! “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18.
Yes, my friends my Savior lives…early on that third day morning the women went to prepare His body but was met with some astounding news- a promise had been fulfilled – He had risen just as He has told them! “He is not here, but is risen: remember he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,” Luke 24:6.
Jesus paid it all on Calvary’s cross so that He would defeat the penalty of sin which is eternal damnation. His death was a substitution for our death and eternal separation from God. He triumphantly rose from the grave so that we could have forgiveness of our sins and receive everlasting life.
I am so glad that His finished work on the cross has opened the way from earth to Heaven…let us tell it, shout it, sing it, write it…that He Lives forever- praise God…He holds the future, and life is worth the living, Just because He lives!
“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 2 Corinthians 15:55.
Jesus is the resurrection and the life….“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6.
Blessings and peace for a wonderful day!
