Facing Our Fears

Facing Our Fears

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10.

Chaos and fear fuel irrational thinking and actions. Fear distorts our focus and draws it from God. God is sovereign and governs all. Jeremiah 10:12 affirms, “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.”

We face the unknown with peace only through faith in God. When fear enters, we imagine the worst, leading some to mental anxiety and conditions that bind them in fear.

God gives us the answer in His word to conquer our fears: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:1.

My friends, hold to the truth that God is always present; He gives strength through the Holy Spirit to overcome any obstacle. Life may not match our expectations, but we are conquerors through Him who loves us. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.

The chaotic circumstances that we presently face throughout this world are ever so daunting. Yet as Job 42:2 states, “I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.” God knows, He cares, and He will be with us always.

If your mind is at unrest, and fear is gripping you at the very core… remember that faith dispels fear every time, so cast all your cares on Him and hold to the truth that He has all power. He will keep you in perfect peace now and forevermore. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28.

May God help you to walk forward with unwavering faith, embracing the peace and strength that God alone provides. Trust Him boldly, for His unchanging hand holds you secure, now and always. Stand strong, be encouraged, and let His blessings and peace fill your heart as you conquer each day.

God’s grace and peace to all!
