Deliverance from Fear

Deliverance from Fear

“I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4

Our current world-wide circumstances have definitely placed a degree of fear in our hearts for obvious reasons; fear is a normal response to any danger in our lives, but the problem is will we let it dominate us to the point that we are in a constant state of worry, anxiety and paranoia. Fear can literally paralyze you, but faith propels us to follow God who provides all the strength that we need to walk this journey of life.

It is imperative that we stay focused and remember that we are in a spiritual warfare. It is the enemy’s job to rob us of our peace and destroy us in any way possible; but praise be to God, we have a comforter, our Paraclete– the Holy Spirit that reminds us of the many spiritual blessings and promises of our Heavenly Father; He will keep our minds in perfect peace, only if we let Him.

No doubt about it, in times like these we must boldly come before the throne of grace, seeking God’s help, protection and divine strength. His promises are faithful and true; hear these words in Isaiah 41:10 that are comforting to the weak and worrying soul: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

In this life Covid-19, Monkey Pox, and whatever the latest health threat…is certainly not the only things that has ever brought us to our knees; and the same God, the same divine peace giver, way maker and deliverer is waiting for our call today. He has a divine plan in all of this for our good. Let’s cling to His promises, stand on our convictions, seek His guidance and fervently pray as never before. He will hear and answer our call according to His divine will.

My friends, take comfort in these words: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.” Psalm 46:1-3.

Claim the blessings, peace and the comfort of His love now and forever…we are safe in His everlasting arms!
