God Has Spoken!
“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us,”2 Corinthians 1:20.
If there is ever a time when we really need a comforting word from the Lord, it is when the challenges of life appear to stop us dead in our tracks, as though there is no hope of coming up out of the battle that we’re fighting…but faith steps in and says, “Is anything too hard for the LORD?” And way deep down in the soul, is an affirmation of God’s promises, faithfulness, and omnipotence, and our hearts say- with God nothing shall be impossible…even this!
The enemy of our souls will continuously try to plant seeds of doubt that you can not-and will not win the fight…but if God says yes, who can say no? I have grown old enough and experienced enough in life to be a witness, and I agree that when our Almighty and faithful God says yes, absolutely no one can say no.
The promises of God are certain now and forever through Jesus Christ our Lord! “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us,”2 Corinthians 1:20,
Let us recall the account of the children of Israel trapped at the Red Sea. God sent his servant Moses with a message to the King of Egypt to let His people go, so that they may serve Him. But, even after the last plague that took the death of all the firstborn males in Egypt, which included Pharaoh’s son, with a hardened heart, he still decided to pursue the children of Israel. He thought for sure that he had them trapped and surrounded by his army and the Red Sea, with absolutely no way out.
But look at God, He spoke to Moses saying, “For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.” Exodus 14:3.
My friends, nothing is over until God says so. He gave His people a word of victory: “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.” Exodus 14:13.
God parted the Red Sea, allowing His children to cross safely to the other side. Scripture tells us, Pharaoh’s army followed in pursuit…but it was to their demise. God took the very wheels off the chariots in the midst of the sea, and Pharaoh’s army was drowned that day!
“And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.” Exodus 14:24-25.
Just like God provided deliverance on that day for the children of Israel…He remains faithful to His promises today. So when the enemy has you backed up against the wall, trying to plant seeds of doubt in your heart that all hope is gone, stay encouraged, because if God says yes…nothing and no one can say no.
So whatever is considered your valley experience at this very moment, God has spoken, and the victory has already been won- and to that you can shout AMEN!
