“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9.

The term sufficient is defined as having enough or adequate. God lovingly provides His amazing grace and peace that surpasses all human logic…especially during times of unrest and in our greatest need; we have the assurance and faithful promise that God’s grace is sufficient. “But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9.

So, here are only a few assurances that I have settled in my heart, keeping me in perfect peace…enabling me to walk this journey of life in the great joy that only He can provide… I am sure you can add more:

God is omniscience and knows everything there is to know about me. It is He that has formed me from my mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:5 states: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

He is omnipotent and sovereign, He can do all things. “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1: 37. Today I choose to trust and rest in His loving care, and I will forever put my trust in Him. “The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” Nahum 1:7.

All glory and honor belong to God alone “Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.” I Chronicles 29:11.

He has a divine plan for my life and guides me in the path of righteousness. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” Psalm 37:23.

In times of trouble, I can run to the foot of the cross and find safety for my weary soul! “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

He is unchangeable. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8. Praise God He is the same God who created the Heavens and the earth and breathe in to man and he became a living soul…He loves us now and forever!

He is omnipresent and oh my God…He will never leave me! Hebrews 13:5 admonishes us “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”.

My friends, what truths in God’s word have you settled in your heart today? Praise God that we can rest in knowing that He Is the Great I AM and supplier of His divine grace forever!
