Have Faith in God

Have Faith in God

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1.

A silent tear rolls down the cheek, and thoughts of if all that you are praying for will ever happen; and the word of the Lord whispers to your heart…have faith in God. All that any of God’s beloved children can hope for that aligns with His will, is already done. . . it may not be evidenced in the physical, but to God be the glory it is manifested in the spiritual. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1.

Life is a journey of untraveled roads with sharp twist and turns that are leading us all to a final destination; but along the way the ride can be one that is lived in fear and despondency, or one filled with hope, joy, and the expectations of God’s best! Which side of the road are you traveling this morning, or should the question be, who is your trusted guide along the way? The word of the Lord reminds us that God has plans for every last one of His children… Jeremiah 29:11 state “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

When we humbly come before the throne of grace, our heavenly Father hears our cries; and we can rest in the assurance that He is faithful. All of the promises that we read in sixty-six books of the greatest love letter ever written are unfailing. Someone wrote that a promise is as good as the character of the promiser; God is the Alpha and Omega and when He speaks all things obey His will…by the word of the Lord the heavens and the earth was created, will He not faithfully manage all that we need? “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19.

Oh, my dear friends, let us have faith in the one who formed us from the dust of the earth and spoke these words to Jeremiah “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5. Our steps are ordered by the Lord; every experience has a purpose that is working out for our good and to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 4:17 state “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;”

We can find comfort and strength at the foot of the cross, knowing that He will answer the cries of our hearts. Absolutely nobody can do us like Jesus! Ephesians 3:20 seals it all “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” My friends, God is omnipotent and faithful…He goes far beyond anything that we can imagine to fulfill His promises…Have faith in God!

God comforting peace and love sustain and keep us all.
