He Has Begun a Good Work in You!

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Philippians 1:6.

Life often presents significant challenges. I dedicated my life to God at the age of fourteen, and by my twenties, the road became mighty rough. If you ‘ve ever felt totally isolated from all that you know, it is at that very moment that God stoops down, picks you up, and the Holy Spirit sweetly reminds you that you are His beloved child, and the enemy doesn’t win-God wins every time! “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Philippians 1:6.

Hindsight is often clear. As teens and younger adults, we aren’t able to truly understand how God sustains, grows, heals, blesses, and strategically uses us for His glory. But as time passes, faith and experience continue to teach us that God works in mysterious ways, and He will forever guide us with His right hand of love! “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Psalm 37:23.

My friends, regardless of your life story, be encouraged in knowing that God’s peace, grace, and mercy are working and producing in you a work that goes far beyond what your mere eyes can see at this present moment. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12.

Trials and tribulations are part of this life…never lose sight that the arch enemy of our souls is vehemently on his job to destroy every child of God, but we are safe, safe I say, in the Master’s hands! “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:29.

So, rest assured in the knowledge that God sees the best in you, whether fourteen or eighty, He has plans to give you a future and a hope! “And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth.” Malachi 3:17.

May God’s blessings, peace, and amazing grace keep you all!

  1. Amen 🙌🏽💗🙏🏽

Ask me how I know He’s real … I’ve seen so much of His goodness, His kindness, His patience, His faithfulness … I know I’m loved because He is good not because I am worthy. I have no context for such loving kindness showered upon me. I am ever grateful. 🙌🏽💗🙌🏽
