I Will Trust in Him!

I Will Trust in Him!

“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” Psalm 9:10.

Our Savior, Jesus the Christ is the same sovereign LORD from the beginning of time, the inaugural of the Gospel and with us forever. He is our merciful, powerful, and all-sufficient God. In Him we can trust and cast all our cares. “Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” Isaiah 40: 28-29. He is the Great I AM!

We all know through experience that something is always happening in life. We are either  going through something, coming out of something, or getting ready to go right back into something! The only constant is our Great and Almighty God-life circumstances may take us by surprise on occasions and at times the enemy of our souls will try to make us feel as though we have no hope... but, nothing can be further from the truth when we know who holds every single circumstances and the future in His all powerful hands; my friends there is absolutely nothing and no one that is able to thwart God’s divine will for our lives-and His love, grace and unfailing mercy with keep us through the darkest of nights!

The key is how we respond to our circumstances, that makes all the difference. When life circumstances through us for a loop, will we trust in the faithfulness of God’s omnipotence and unfailing love or will we murmur and complain about our problems as one who has no faith? The answer lies in our trust and dependence on God in an through all things. Psalm 91:2 states “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”

Past experiences of God faithfulness and goodness towars us are our safety zones, especially when we have no earthly idea about what to expect next. He is the same God who brought us out the last time and the time before that and the time before that… and is  the same One who will bring us out this time and forevermore.

Our first response should always be prayer and seeking God for peace, strength, and comfort. The Holy Spirit will empower us to keep our focus on the Lord, the One who has known us from the foundations of the world “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” Psalm 9:10.

If He has kept us from the moment of conception and brought us thus far, He has no intention of leaving us now. My friends, we must settle it in our hearts that God is sovereign and there is none other like Him. All men are subject to fail at any given time, but there is absolutely no failure in God-He is immutable – and we can rest in His faithfulness! “For I am the Lord, I change not; Malachi 3:6a.

So, right in the midst of our problems is the time that we must  “man-up”  be brave or tough enough to deal with an unpleasant situation; the act of holding on tight to our faith and facing the situation by “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”  Hebrews 12:2. All of our help comes from the Lord…His amazing grace is sufficient, and He will keep us forever- won’t you trust Him today?

God blessings of loving-kindness and tender mercies be with us all.
