It’s Already Done

It’s Already Done

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: “Matthew 7:7.

Prayer is the means by which we ask for all that we need; it is our direct communication with God. When we come before God, we must believe that He is our divine supplier. Hebrews 11:6 states “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

In times of trouble, we pour out our hearts as one who is totally depleted of any resources; we appear to have lost something most valuable, so we seek and knock so vehemently that the man of the house must come to open the door. God will answer the pleas of His beloved children. In Jeremiah 33:3 God tells us to “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Whatever your concern is today, take it to the Lord in prayer.

Faith is the path that we travel to the foot of the cross… God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. We can settle it in our hearts, whatever we need, the greatest of concerns…are already done! The bible teaches us that we have previously been given spiritual blessings through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In the book of Ephesians 1:3, we find an account of the apostle Paul praising God for being the recipient of those spiritual blessings “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”

God in His infinite wisdom and power has already taken care of every spiritual, physical, mental, and financial need that we have, both now and forever. We are finite and can only see and move through the constraints of time and space, but God just is . . . He is the Great I AM, and Creator of all things. Let us trust Him at this very moment for divine provisions, protective care, and praise God, for His amazing grace.

My friends, if you happen to be shedding tears at the moment, rest in the assurance that our tears are only temporary… God has promised to wipe away every single tear that falls; He is lovingly taking us through the circumstances of this life…  know that it is already done! “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24. The question and answer for our consideration provides all the peace that we need . . . is there anything too hard for God? Scripture answers a resounding, NO! “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37.

To God be the glory… it is well. Peace and blessings to all.
