I’ve Got My Eyes on You!
“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry” Psalm 34:15.
I’ve Got my eyes on you…that takes a whole different connotation when the Holy Spirit whisper those words to our soul. Psalm 34:15 state: “The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. No matter what we’re going through or where we are at physically, spiritually or mentally at this very moment…the Lord is right there, He sees, He Knows, He hears, He cares and if we just “Be still” and listen oh so very closely, we can hear that small voice inside that says. . . I’ve got my eyes on you!
My friends, that is exactly when the peace of God, the peace that passes all that we can humanly understand brings comfort to our hearts and says it’s well, it’s well my child! “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7.
Trials and tribulations are apart of this life- we are either right in the midst of something, coming out of something…or headed right back in to something…but the peace of knowing that God has everything that concerns us in His loving and faithful care – gives us strength to run on to see what the end will be! The words of Psalm 34:4 state: “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.“
One word-one name says it all: “Emmanuel!” God with us, lovingly watching over us, giving us the comfort and assurance that no matter what comes or goes, He will never leave us nor forake us. “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1.
My friends, wherever your walk in life leads you today-trust God, He is closer to us than the very air that we breathe-He lives within-so when the tears come, apprehension, anxiety, uncertainly, outright fear . . . in faith humbly rest in His unfailing mercy, and listen to that small still voice insides that says-I’ve got my eyes on you! “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good” Proverbs 15:3.
God blessing and peace to all!
