Let Not Your Heart be Troubled

Let Not Your Heart be Troubled

“Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1.

A feeling of Hopelessness enters the heart, as there appears to be no end in sight to your current situation; there are times that you literally grasp to hang on to that feeling and desire for some sense of relief and suddenly a still small voice says… “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1.

The light shines through the darkness, reminding us that there is hope in God! There is absolutely nowhere that we can find ourselves in life that God is not already there, holding, leading, and making a way out of no way. Psalm 139: 7-10 gives us the assurance that God’s abiding presence is with us at all times “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

So, my friends, start this day knowing that whatever you need and all those things that concern you, God will lovingly supply…and even at our weakest moments and those things that can bring us to our knees, remember these comforting words: “A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.” Matthew 12:20.

Yes, tears do fall, but God is faithful to wipe away every single tear… “Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;” Psalm 30:11. I can hear the voice of the late Rev. Paul Jones singing “I Won’t Complain.”

I’ve had some good days And I’ve had some hills to climb

I’ve had some weary days And some sleepless nights

But when I look around And I think things over

All of my good days Out-weigh my bad days I won’t complain.

God blessings for a wonderful day in the Lord, keep looking up and stay encouraged!
