In science we learn that we inherit our DNA from our parents. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a molecule that contains the biological instructions that make each species unique. DNA, along with the instructions it contains, is passed from adult organisms to their offspring during reproduction. -Wikipedia

Our Heavenly Father has so miraculously created the human body to sustain, replicate and supply all that it needs for both physical and spiritual survival. Every born-again believer also has been re-created with DNA- the Spirit of the Living God!  Inside we are empowered with   spiritual instructions that makes us uniquely His!

Even though we are so miraculously created, there are times when things inhibit the process of growth; just like biological occurrences that cause diseases and other illness in the body, there are negative influences from the world that causes us to spiritually stumble and fall.

But if you slip, don’t slide, and if you slide, don’t fall and wallow-get up and recognize to whom you belong; start desiring the sincere word of God- 1 Peter 2:2-3 state, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.” The Word of God guides us in the truth, exposes our sins, gives us spiritual insight to ward off trickery, craftiness, and deception of the enemy; and develops in us the fruit of the Spirit “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23.

My friends, rest assured, we are never alone on this journey of life. yes, there are times when things get rough, but just remember, we are equipped with spiritual DNA from our Father… so, let us walk and grow as those who have received such a precious gift from above– “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7l
