The Goodness of God

The Goodness of God

The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. Psalm 145:9.

It is a true blessing to write about the goodness of God. There is nothing better than knowing that you are kept safe in hands of the Almighty and Sovereign God…the Creator of all things. Life for me ain’t been no crystal staircase…but no one ever promised that our way would be easy, but the unconditional love and goodness of God has and continues to succor and comfort me on this journey called life. God is good today, tomorrow and forever! “The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. Psalm 145:9.”

The bible gives an account of the disciples in deep trouble on the sea of Galilee…thinking that they would surely perish “And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?” Mark 4:37-38. But God…the Master of the sea was on board “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39.

Could you possibly be in a perilous predicament…or is your heart heavy with the cares of this world? Let me tell you about a man who saves to the utmost…He will give you eternal life and a message for the world that even the gates of hell can not prevail against! He is the Great I Am and can change your life around and place your feet on solid ground. If He is knocking on your heart let Him in…and if He is already onboard, faithfully follow where He leads. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6.

Are your funds running low? That same Jesus…who took five loaves of bread and feed five thousand men excluding how many additional women and children…I know that He can do it, He has made a way too many times in my life; Jesus will provide all that you need . . .  all things belong to Him “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Psalm 24:1. Trust in His faithfulness. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:” 1 John 5:14.

If you trust God…whatever you may be facing will surely pass. God will fix it…He simply shows up and says “Peace, be still.” And all things must obey His will! Rest in the goodness of God now and forever, He is faithful to every single promise, and not to just some of us…but all! “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19.

God blessing, comfort and unconditional love keep us now and forever!
