The Providential Care of God
God oversees every aspect of our lives. Even when we do not understand our circumstances or their outcomes, as His children, we will ultimately recognize His work in all things. Romans 8:28 is our constant reminder, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
My friends, remember that there really is a purpose in our pain. Suffering is not without meaning; in the hardest of times, God is growing us, shaping our character, and strengthening our faith; He’s preparing us for something greater!
So, regardless of what is occurring in our lives at this very moment, we can rest assured that absolutely nothing and no one can thwart God’s plans! “I know that thou canst do everything, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.” Job 42:2. He is intentional!
It is right in the midst of the toughest of times in life that we must tie that proverbial knot at the end of our rope, and hold on with all we’ve got, knowing that God will come through! “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37.
My brothers and sisters, stay strong in the Lord… because you are safe under our Master’s providential care and love. Praise God, we are the sheep of His pasture, and nothing and no one can pluck us out of His all-powerful hands! “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” John 10:14.
May God’s love and amazing grace be with us all!
