“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.”  Psalm 9:10.

Trust can be defined as the firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. Regardless to what we know, have or think we have…the certainty of anything in this world only last for the milliseconds that we exist in at the moment… the next heart beat, the next second, day, year is not promised- to those who must have control….that thought can be quite daunting- but trust must be in a catayst that sustains and  has the ability to keep us beyond anything that the natural eye can see….the question is what are you trusting your current circumstances in? I have to answer that question for you from the voice of a child of the living God! “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.”  Psalm 9:10.

The word of the Lord affirms “For we walk by faith,  not by sight”  2 Corinthians 5:7. Our future is held safe and secure in the hands of the One who Created the Heavens and earth-because He is faithful that promised! “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23.

The Lord is the source of our strength, joy, hope and peace- He has absolute control of all things in Heaven and on earth and our help comes from Him; by faith we must rest in the knowledge that He orders our footsteps each moment…resting in His unconditonal love and plan to give us a future and a hope that surpasses all that we can physically see or even understand… but we must stand on His word… walking each day faithfully trusting where He leads. “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3. Yes…we can fully rely on God-TRUSTING  and depending on Him in and through every situation in life!

My friends, if you are a child of God- then your future is set and secure- there is nothing going on at this very moment that is outside of God’s divine will- so, the circumstance that appears out of your control-hold to God’s unchanging hands-He knows, He sees, and He is working even “this”  out for your good! “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.

The Bible reminds us  “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 1 Corinthians 1:20. He is faithful and reliable… faith ushers in His amazing light that quells the darkest of nights,  dispels the fear that creeps into our hearts in times of weakness, danger, and uncertainty; but, my Lord…His wings of of love will always cover us! “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1.

So, let us trust God-especially when the road gets rough, the way seems dark and the hills insumountable to climb- these words ring ever so true and encourages the heart… “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1.
