Faith Dispels Fear Everytime!

Faith Dispels Fear Everytime!

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

Chaos, fear and panic leads to irrational thinking and actions. Fear distorts our vision and takes it off God. The truth is that God is sovereign and has divine providence over all things. Jeremiah 10:12 states “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.”

Facing the unknown with peace of mind can only be done in faith. Fear can so easily creep into our minds and switch our focus on the worst things that could possibly happen- especially when an unfavorable prognosis comes in, or that pink slip from the job…divorce … and so many other scenarios in life..and unfortunately many  suffer from mental anxiety and other illnesses that hold us bondage to fear. But… FAITH in GOD dispels our fear every single time!

My friends, we must hold fast to these words of the Lord… “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:1.

God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient… He can and will give us strength and empowerment through the Holy Ghost to overcome all the obstacles that we encounter- the bottom-line, trust in God! “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.

Life does not always happen according to our expectations. But, if we believe and trust in the sovereignty of God, who holds us safe in His everlasting arms; we can trust in His faithfulness to provide, protect and never leave us alone. “for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5b.

Yes, unknown circumstances that will suddenly arise can be ever so daunting, but as David wrote in the 23rd Psalm: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” God knows, He cares, and He is with us always.

If your mind is at unrest and fear is gripping you at the very core, then cast all your cares on Him and hold to the truth that the Great Shepherd of the sheep is lovingly watching over all His beloved children! “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1.

God blessings and peace, remember that faith always dispels fear!
