God Always Answers Our Call

God Always Answers Our Call

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah

God always hears and answers when His children call out to Him. Sometimes His answer is yes, sometimes no, and sometimes He asks us to wait. No matter what, we can trust that He will respond in the way that is best for us.

Let’s think about the power of prayer in action. Acts 12:5 tells us, “Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” King Herod had already killed James, John’s brother, and now he had Peter arrested to please the people. In response, the church prayed earnestly for Peter’s release.

God answered their prayers that night in a miraculous way. An angel of the Lord woke Peter in prison and led him out to safety. As he approached the place where they were all assembled in prayer, a young girl heard a knock on the gate; she recognized Peter’s voice and ran to tell the others. In unbelief, they assumed she was mad or that it was an angel. When they went to open the gate, they found Peter standing there. God had answered their prayers far beyond their own expectations!

He is the same God today as He was over two thousand years ago. He will come through in our times of greatest need, providing an answer that will comfort our hearts and sanctify our prayers through His Word.

Our God is omnipotent, and He is faithful to every single promise that He makes. There is nothing impossible with God; if He said it, through the faithfulness of His word, it is already done. “God is not a man, that he should lie… hath he said, and shall he not do it?” Numbers 23:19.

When we pray, we should come with humble hearts.  Emphasizing who our Great and Almighty God is, we must give Him the praise and glory before seeking any human need. Acknowledging Him as our Creator, who establishes (whose I am) and (who I am) – a beloved child of God! Yes, if we call, He will answer! “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3.

God’s unconditional love gives us comfort and confidence to come to Him with our needs. It is a wonderful testimony to His goodness when He answers our prayers. He knows all about our troubles. He cares, and He will always provide what we need. Thank you, Jesus, for hearing and answering our prayers.

My friends, we can fully rely on God. If you need comfort and help today, fall humbly before our Heavenly Father’s Throne of Grace, with the assurance that He keeps His promises, every single prayer is answered in and through Jesus Christ our Lord! “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”2 Corinthians 1:20.

May God bless you with peace and love!
