“Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11

Our Almighty God is sovereign and great, and He has a name that is above all names; He is supreme over all things. We can only humble our very souls to His majesty… He is the King or Kings and Lord of lords; and with thankful hearts we give Him all the glory “Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11

Today as we focus on the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, we recognize that God’s amazing grace and unconditional love towards us through His power, glory, and victory over all things in heaven and in earth has given us eternal life!

Our Heavenly Father gave Him all power in His hands “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18. And because He lives this morning, we can live forever!

Every born-again believer has been endowed with the power of God through the Holy Spirit to guide, strengthen and keep us for His glory until Jesus returns for us; He shall come again in all His glory and receive us unto Himself, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

Therefore, because He lives and we walk in the assurance that He is soon to return…we can face every tomorrow, and every moment that He gives us life and strength, just like the grave could not hold Him down, the Spirit of God that quickens us can not and will not be held down!

So, let us tell the world of our risen Savior today and always; of His greatness, love, and amazing grace to give everlasting life. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16; May the light of Christ that has risen in us…shine in this dark world as a beacon of hope!

To God be the glory… He is exalted as head above all!
