A New Song

A New Song

“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” Psalm 110:133.

The chaos that we see throughout this world can often dampen our spirits; but as beloved children of God we have a guide that will navigate us through the twist and turns of life. Sometimes we need a new song to sing, seeking to stay focused on the path that has already been laid out for us. Psalm 119:133 State “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.”

Jesus is the only One who can provide the peace, joy, and strength that we need when the world appears to be crumbling all around us; He gives us that new song, which shines the light of His blessed hope way down deep in our souls. In those moments of indecision, listen carefully my friends and you can hear Him whisper “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:29.

Are you willing today to let Him wash and regenerate your heart in the power of His word? He is able to change the thoughts and actions that are unproductive and contrary to the walk of His own; He shields us from the destructive thoughts that the enemy so often cast before us, trying to cover the light. But when Jesus is on board nothing that Satan can do can thwart the plans that He ordains in our lives. “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.”  Isaiah 59:21.  Hallelujah… He is faithful that promised…nothing and no one can snatch His word from our hearts!

Let us ensure, that we are willing to let God have full control of how we walk and talk, fulfilling His calling for our lives. His mercies are new every morning…guiding, lifting, empowering, and using us as vessels of honor. So, do not allow the things that you see and encounter to get you down…just call on His name, think on His goodness and allow the praises to come as they surely will, it is impossible to think on the amazing grace of the Lord without experiencing the awesome power of His presence.

Pray without ceasing for His anointing to overshadow our lives and manifesting His glory in this dark and dismal world, learning to take our eyes off of self and think of others who need His light more than ever, a renewed song will come rushing way down deep within our souls … opening our spiritual sight of hope, peace, and love. “Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.” Psalm 112:4.

Be careful, watch what you let allow to invade your mental space… our every thought and action should be led by the word and will of God; It is a promise that if we keep our focus on Him, we will walk in peace. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3.

God blessings to all and just call on Jesus…He is our hope for tomorrow!
