God will keep You!

God will keep You!

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11.

The words of an old gospel hymn echoes deep down in my soul…it goes-if it had not been for the Lord, on my side, where would I be! These words bring peace and comfort and praise to God for His lovingkindness, protection, and tender mercies… but even greater assurance is the promise of His word, to give His angels charge over all that concern His beloved children! “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11.

We live in a fallen world my friends, and in life we face dangers seen and unseen, undesirable circumstances can easily arise from various sources at any given time… things brought on by evil intent, physical illnesses, spiritual, mental, or financial attacks…but, praise be to God, we who have committed ourselves to the Lord, have this blessed assurance and comfort of heart…He dispatches His angels to watch over us in all our ways… “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Psalms 1:14.

Perhaps you are in a tough spot today, fear grips your heart and your thoughts are … Lord do you hear me? My friend, God always answers His beloved children! …read the account of Daniel in chapter ten, Daniel had been praying and seeking the Lord, scripture tells us that an angel was dispatched to administer unto Daniel…but was upheld over twenty-one days by the prince of the kingdom of Persia-but the angel receives help from one of the chief princes, named Michael…my friends, God hears, and He always delivers!

“Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. Daniel 10:12-14.

So, be encouraged… your shed tears are only temporary… our Great and Almighty God is the same yesterday, today and forever, His promises are faithful and true. His angels are watching over you, and you are kept safe by His power!  “The LORD is thy keeper:The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. Psalm 121: 5-7.

God blessings of peace and protection be with us all!
