If God Says Yes, Who Can Say No?

“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us,”

Often when caught between a rock and a hard place, and the situation having been resolved, I would hear my parents exclaim, if God says yes, who can say no? I have grown old enough and have experienced enough things in life to be a witness, an agree that when our Almighty and faithful God says yes, absolutely no one can say no…His promises are certain now and forever through Jesus Christ our Lord! “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us,”2 Corinthians 1:20,

God sent his servant Moses with a message to the King of Egypt, it was to let His people go that they may serve Him. Even after the last plague that took the death of all the first-born males in Egypt…which included Pharoah’s son; with a hardened heart he decided to pursue the children of Israel… he thought for sure that he had them trap and surrounded by his army and the red sea, with no way out. God spoke to Moses saying “For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.” Exodus14:3.

But my friends, nothing is ever over until God says so… He also sent a Word of victory to His children; “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.” Exodus 14:13.

God parted the Red Sea and allowed all of His children to cross safely to the other side, and as the scripture tells us…Pharoah’s army followed in pursuit…but it was to their demise. God took the very wheels off the chariots in the midst of the sea, and they were drowned that day! “And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.” Exodus 14:24-25.

Just like God provided deliverance on that day…He is still faithful to His promises to provide, protect and deliver His beloved children today. Is your back up against the wall and you can’t see a way out- is the enemy trying to plant seeds of doubt in your heart? Fear not… just look unto Jesus, He is working in the midst of your situation, and if He says yes, absolutely no one can say no!
