As God’s beloved children it is inevitable that we will face obstacles in this life; Satan seeks to divert our attention and take us off the divine course that God has planned for us, but we have the power of the Holy Ghost that lives within us to overcome the adversity of the enemy! “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

It is easy to become discouraged and irritated when we are trying to accomplish a task, do our best in service or relationships… and yet roadblocks are consistently being thrown in our pathway. So, what do we do? I am glad you asked….stay strong, vigilant, and prayed up!

Satan and his demonic forces are on their job to stop us anyway possible from being strong in the faith; the apostle Paul wrote these words of admonishment: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesian 6:10-11.

It is imperative that we remember that we are the sons of God-and nothing and no one can change that!  The Lord God Almighty is sovereign, omnipotent, and He is lovingly directing our footsteps according to His divine will “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.”  Regardless of what things may seem like, in and through it all we have the victory!

I once heard that the most qualified soldiers are more often than not sent into the heat of the battle; my friends, we have been given divine marching orders and are placed in this spiritual battle exactly where our Heavenly Father sees fit for us to be… rest assured that He will never lead us, where His amazing grace will not keep us! “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.

So, let us fight the good fight of faith, stay in prayer, meditate on His Word, stand still and know that He is GOD…and He wins every time!  “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13.
