With a Childlike Faith

With a Childlike Faith

“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” Luke 18:17

A baby instinctually cries when in need… the cry signals that I am hungry, wet, need holding, hurt or whatever the case maybe… but there  is a natural ability to trust that the need will be meet.  They continue to grow and faithfully follow, trust, and believe their parents; it is just second nature for them to innocently expect their parents to love, protect and care for them.. because in their little minds the parent can do absolutely everything!

As the beloved children of God, we must trust, follow, and obey Him with the same childlike innocence. “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” Luke 18:17.

This childlike faith innocently believes that there is absolutely nothing impossible with God…and just like that baby when we cry out to God…we are reaching the ears and heart of the One who can exceed anything that we could possible imagine! ” that He will provide for all that we need in this life and the life to come…oh my friends… our Heavenly Father loves us unconditionally and  provides for all that we need…beginning with His amazing grace of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. John 10:27-29.

Do you believe that there is absolutely nothing impossible with God, are you willing to have that childlike faith and believe in His promises; He knows exactly what you need, what you desire, where you are, and where He’s leading you- I ask you, where is your faith today?  “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6.

If by chance your soul is at unrest, and you are searching for the answer to the cares and concerns of your heart, rest in the knowledge that our Father…will lovingly provide all that you need. David wrote in the 23rd Psalm that “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” He was expressing satisfaction and peace in God, the Good Shepherd who loved him unconditionally and the only faithful keeper of his very soul.

Let us also cling to the assurance that “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1. He will provide, protect, keep, and love His children for ever-He is faithful, proven, and true! “Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;” Deuteronomy 7:9.

My friends, come before the mercy seat with a childlike faith and Ask the Savior to help you, comfort, strengthen, and keep you…Jesus is willing to aide you, He will carry you through!

God blessings of peace, love, and mercy be with us all.
