“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Revelation 5:13.

In the Book of Revelation, Chapter 5, the account given by the Apostle John, opens with a scene in Heaven; a book is held in the hands of him that sat on the throne, it was written on both sides and sealed with seven seals; but there was an insolvable mystery, no man in Heaven or in Earth was able to open or even look upon this book- which is actuality the deeds of the earth. “And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.” Revelation 5:1-3.

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and relinquished all that man was given dominion over in creation unto the enemy of our souls-that old devil, Satan. But God’s redemption plan was put in place before the foundations of the world my friends…God’s judgment of sin on Satan, Adam, Eve and the serpent- was the inaugural gospel- God Himself would be manifested in the flesh, and bruise the head…literally crush, bring the death blow to Satan’s head…Jesus, the only begotten Son of God would redeem the deeds of the earth and mankind back to God by His death and resurrection! ” And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15.

So, it is this triumphant victory that the angels in Heaven are now assuring the Apostle John to weep no longer…for the crucified Lamb that stood in the midst of the throne was worthy to take the book and unloose the seals! Hallelujah…that’s good news!

“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.” Revelation 5:5-7.

My friends, it is already done… because of Christ shed blood on Calvary’s cross, death and resurrection, the Bible tells us a new song is sung in Heaven , because God has made all who are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb-  those who have accepted His free give to salvation- kings and priests unto our God, and we shall, not might, reign on the earth with Him…Job stated it like this “And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:” Job 19:26.

Today as innumerable saints around the world celebrate the death and resurrection of our Savior, where do you stand-have you embrace the way, truth, and the life– Jesus the Christ-or will you go through the motions and only experience the greatest gift of all? “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6.

Jesus the Christ, the Lord, God, Almighty is our King of Kings and just as Heaven burst forth is praise because He has all power… may we proclaim with a loud voice and uplifted hearts, not just today but forever “…Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Revelation 5:13b.

To God be the Glory- for worthy is the Lamb!
