Fear Not

Fear Not

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

Chaos, fear, and panic lead to irrational thinking and actions. Fear distorts our vision and takes it off God. The truth is that God is sovereign and has divine providence. Jeremiah 10:12 states, “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.”

Facing the unknown with peace of mind can only be done in faith. Fear can so easily creep into our minds and center our focus on the worst things that could happen. Many suffer from mental anxiety and other illnesses that hold them in bondage to fear. God gives us the answer in His word: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10. Hold to the truth that God is present with us at all times. He can and will give us strength and empowerment through the Holy Spirit to overcome all the obstacles that we encounter.

Life does not always happen according to our expectations. But if we believe and trust in the sovereignty of God, we know who holds us safe in His everlasting arms. We must remain faithful to His truth and stay on our knees. Remember when you are at the Breaking Point to STOP: Seek Him in prayer, Trust in His promises, Obey and follow His commands, and start Praising Him for the victory!
