I Change Not

I Change Not

“For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6.

Nothing appears ever to stay the same. In life, the young become old; mysteries do unfold because that’s the way of time; nothing and no one goes unchanged. The good news is that the Lord God Almighty is eternal and He changeth not! “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6.

Knowing that the Lord does not change brings comfort and peace to the weary soul who thinks God’s promises may never come to fruition. But the Word of the Lord gently reminds us that He never forgets His children; my friends, He’s got His eyes on you. He will fulfill His promises, every single one. “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20.

The beautiful gospel song by Terrain, entitled Testimony, says: “I am a living, breathing, walking testimony. I am the living proof of what the Lord has done.”  As God’s beloved children, we can all shout the same testimony: God’s promises never fail, and when we trust, believe, and run to His Throne of Grace, He hears and answers; He manifests His glory through our lives, giving hope to the broken and downhearted. Yes, He is the faithful and everlasting God who cares for, provides for, and loves His children.

My friends, stand on the Word of the Lord today. What God has spoken, it is so- His promises are true and faithful. Because unlike man, He changes not. Whatever the need, don’t let the enemy make you believe that it’s too late or that there is no hope; God hasn’t forgotten you. Trust in Him to fulfill His promises. He will come through; hold to His unchanging hands! “That by two immutable things, in which God couldn’t lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” Hebrews 6:18.

Be blessed and rest in the faithfulness of God!
