Because the Lord is My Shepherd
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1.
The beautiful Gospel song “Safe in His Arms” is a comfort to our souls when at unrest, reminding us that “Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need!” God provides, so why do we worry about our lives? He always comes to our rescue…we can’t explain it, but He will always show up right on time!
My friends, whether it is a physical, spiritual, mental, or financial need that is challenging you today, rest in the assurance that God has it all in His hands. Regardless of how things may appear, we can rest in the author and finisher of our faith, JESUS, knowing that He will take care of us. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1.
Do you believe that at the very creation of the world, the Lord God Almighty flung the beautiful and vast universe into place, reaching far beyond what our mere eyes can see, into the second Heaven? If so, know that nothing is impossible with God, and He is the same God who has His eyes on you!
So let us take heart, resting in His Word, walking by faith and not by sight every step of the way, knowing that all is well… and this too shall pass! “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1.
There is no failure in God. So let us cling to the Great Shepherd of the Sheep, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ- the lover and keeper of our souls. And all of God’s beloved children can cry out: “Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I am safe, safe; I say in His everlasting arms!
God’s blessings of favor, protection, and peace be with us all!
Beautifully said…Thank you! GOD has ‘IT’ All… Keeping, in prayer
To God be the glory! Have a blessed day, my dear sister!
